2014年，初始团队从物联网底层操作系统Ruff OS开始立项，2016年国内首款基于JavaScript开发语言的物联网操作系统Ruff OS 1.0版本正式对外发布；2017年，公司聚焦工业物联网赛道，先后推出工业物联网网关系列产品、设备管理平台Ruff  IoT以及多款细分领域产品解决方案，帮助传统制造业客户实现设备数据高效采集及数字化管理。公司拥有来自Intel、IBM、NVIDIA、Nokia、Cisco、阿里巴巴等企业的产品设计及研发团队，技术研发人员占比超75%。

Ruff 南潮物联工业设备管理平台（简称：Ruff IoT平台）是一款包含底层物联网操作系统Ruff OS、采集传输层物联网网关Ruff Gateway以及上层软件应用层Ruff IoT SaaS的工业设备管理平台，该平台可实现多种工业协议的标准化采集，目前已支持市面上所有主流的品牌厂商，包括西门子、施耐德、罗克韦尔、三菱等，同时可支持多种传感器、逆变器等设备类型。
